Why is the course so cheap/expensive?
1. Building the platform, writing the curriculum, and recording the course took over 1,200 hours across nearly 3 years. That's not counting the earlier years of experience that made it possible for me to create the course in the first place.
2. I run a legally registered business in Poland, and selling the course naturally comes with various taxes and operating costs.
3. The course runs on a dedicated platform we built and maintain ourselves — hosting hundreds of video files adds up.
For the reasons above, in previous years I sold lifetime access for around 2,000 zł. Today lifetime access costs 1,499 zł, and if you prefer, you can use the course on a subscription instead.
Because the job market changed dramatically in 2024, I decided to lower the price so that as many people as possible could benefit from the course.
I care about giving as many people as possible a chance to get into programming — not necessarily tying their whole career to it right away.

Is this course for me?
The course is for anyone who wants to learn to build web applications. From the ground up.
No prior knowledge or programming experience is required.
Whether you're learning for the sake of the knowledge itself or you want to land your first job in IT, you'll get value out of the course either way.
If you've already coded in some other language, or you know the basics of HTML and CSS from school or another course, the early lessons may feel tedious. Even so, I recommend watching every lesson in the course carefully, because I cover JavaScript in particular in great detail, and you could miss many important concepts that are key to truly understanding the language.
When is this course not for me?
If you already know JavaScript and write in it day to day. The course only covers the fundamentals. If you don't know React and Redux and would like to learn them from me — get in touch.
If you think you'll learn to code just by watching videos on the couch, without doing the exercises and without looking for answers on your own too. No matter what I do, I can't "hammer" the knowledge into your head.
When will I get access to the course?

Why JavaScript? Surely Java/Python/XXX is better!
First of all, because in JavaScript I feel like a fish in water and can explain everything to you in the finest detail.
On top of that, JavaScript is a genuinely rewarding language in which you can do a great deal, including:
- building websites (vanilla JS, Next.js, Gatsby, and many other solutions)
- building web/browser applications (React, Angular, Next.js, and many others)
- building desktop applications (Electron)
- building Android and iOS apps (React Native)
- writing the backend, i.e. code that runs on the server side (Node.js)

I see no problem at all with going through the course together with a friend.
The important thing is that you don't share the course publicly, and with no more than one person besides yourself.
Of course, you'll have just one account, one saved course progress, and so on.
